KÖRMEND, Hungary (Interstat) — Egis Körmend hosts Zalakeramia ZTE on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Kormendi Varosi Sportcsarnok in a Hungarian NBIA matchup between two teams fighting to finish the season above .500.

Körmend (14-21) has lost four of its last five games, including a 81-77 defeat Saturday at KTE-Duna Aszfalt. Zalakeramia ZTE (12-22) enters on a two-game win streak, beating Oroszlanyi 91-89 on Saturday and NKA Univ. 92-81 on Wednesday.

Zalakeramia ZTE forward Hasan Varence has been the team’s most consistent performer. The power forward posted a double-double in four of his last seven games, including 21 points and 16 rebounds in Saturday’s win over Oroszlanyi. He also recorded 21 points and 11 rebounds against NKA Univ. on May 13. In the last meeting between these teams on April 29 — a 105-86 Zalakeramia ZTE victory — Varence contributed 16 points and 17 rebounds.

For Körmend, center Ivosev Tamas leads the frontcourt. He scored 19 points with eight rebounds and five assists in Saturday’s loss at KTE-Duna Aszfalt. Tamas has been inconsistent recently, however, managing only eight points and seven rebounds in the April 29 loss at Zalakeramia ZTE.

The teams have split their two meetings this season. Zalakeramia ZTE won at home 105-86 on April 29, while Körmend won 96-82 at home on March 21. In the earlier matchup, Nov. 19, 2025, Zalakeramia ZTE won 87-76 at home.
