ŠENČUR, Slovenia (Interstat) — Matthew Hurt scored 25 points and Umoja Gibson added 19 points, five rebounds and six assists to lead KK Cedevita to an 86-79 victory over Sencur CP Kranj on Wednesday at Sports hall Sencur.

Hurt shot 10 of 16 from the field and added two blocks. D.J. Stewart contributed 15 points and eight rebounds. Cedevita shot 31 of 68 overall, 9 of 23 from 3-point range and 15 of 19 from the line.

Filip Kalajzic paced Sencur CP Kranj with 19 points. Brandon Murray added 18. Jan Novak had 14 points, five rebounds and seven assists. The home team shot 30 of 65, 3 of 14 from beyond the arc and 16 of 21 from the stripe.

Cedevita held a 48-40 halftime lead, then outscored Sencur 22-15 in the third quarter to push the advantage to 15. Sencur trimmed the deficit with a 24-16 fourth quarter but fell short.

Cedevita improved to 33-20; Sencur dropped to 19-11. Cedevita held edges in rebounds 36-31, assists 9-5 and steals 9-5.
