TIMIȘOARA, Romania (Interstat) — Bega Timisoara rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to defeat Valcea 90-84 on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Sala Constantin Jude in a Romanian Divizia A matchup. The victory avenged an 88-85 loss at Valcea on March 29.

Valcea led 53-42 at intermission after scoring 32 points in the second quarter, but Bega Timisoara outscored Valcea 23-9 in the third quarter to take a 65-62 lead. The home team sealed the win with a 25-22 fourth quarter.

Bogic Vujosevic keyed Bega Timisoara with 17 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds in 36 minutes. Robert Schipor added 16 points and seven rebounds. Dejan Bjelic contributed 13 points and five rebounds. Jalen Nesbitt grabbed eight rebounds.

Anton Rotaru led Valcea with 18 points in 22 minutes. Bryn Forbes scored 16 points with four rebounds and three assists. Rares Uta posted 14 points and six rebounds. Emmanuel Lecomte dished seven assists, and Lucas Tohatan scored 10 points. Patrick McCaffery added 12 points.

Bega Timisoara improved to 21-14, while Valcea fell to 22-19.
