ANKARA (Interstat) — Nemanja Nenadic scored 25 points and Zeljko Sakic added 21 points and 10 rebounds, leading Gaziantep to a 98-96 victory over Konyaspor on Saturday at M. Sait Zarifoglu SS. Gaziantep improved to 29-9 across all competitions, while Konyaspor dropped to 24-14. Erdem Ilter contributed 14 points and five assists for the winners. Cavit Havsa led Konyaspor with 12 points and five rebounds. The game was the third meeting between the teams in eight days, with Konyaspor winning 82-78 on May 13 and Gaziantep taking an 80-71 victory on May 10. Gaziantep’s Rijad Aydin finished with eight points and six rebounds, Emir Sivas added three points and four assists, and Yigitcan Turna had two points and three assists. Konyaspor shot 43 percent from the floor and 34 percent from 3-point range, while Gaziantep shot 47 percent from the field and 38 percent from beyond the arc. The win kept Gaziantep atop the Turkish TBL standings.
