KAUNAS, Lithuania (Interstat) — Azuolas Tubelis scored 21 points and Deividas Sirvydis added 19 as Zalgiris defeated Juventus 108-93 on Friday afternoon in Lithuanian LKL play at Zalgiris Arena.

Zalgiris improved to 55-18, while Juventus fell to 13-22.

Zalgiris trailed 56-51 at halftime after Juventus scored 32 points in the second quarter. But Zalgiris outscored Juventus 35-20 in the third quarter to take the lead. Mantas Rubstavicius contributed 16 points, Sylvain Francisco added 11 points and six assists, and Moses Wright had 10 points and three rebounds. Laurynas Birutis finished with two points, one rebound and one block. Juventus scored 17 points in the fourth quarter, but Zalgiris answered with 22 to seal the victory.

Juventus, which had won two straight entering the game, lost for the third time in four games. Zalgiris extended its winning streak against Juventus to four games, including a 94-83 victory on March 29.

Zalgiris plays next Sunday against Kedainiai Nevezis at home.
