KK Jamorina vs. Borac Nektar

BANJA LUKA, Bosnia and Herzegovina (Interstat) — Borac Nektar, the Bosnian BiH Liga leader with a 23-4 record, will host KK Jamorina (16-11) on Wednesday, May 13, at Borik Sports Hall in a matchup that could solidify the home team’s position atop the standings.

Borac Nektar enters the game after a 79-78 victory at Sloboda Tuzla on Sunday, May 10, in which guard Ty Harris recorded 20 points and 10 assists. Harris, who also had 23 points, five rebounds and three assists in Borac’s 84-72 win at Jamorina on April 25, has been a consistent playmaker. In four recent games, he has averaged 15.0 points and 6.5 assists, though he shot just 4 of 12 from the field in a 76-82 loss to Siroki on May 3.

KK Jamorina, meanwhile, won its last outing 91-88 at Siroki on May 9, powered by forward Marjko Gutalj’s double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds. Gutalj, who also had 26 points and 14 boards in a 76-73 win over Sloboda Tuzla on May 2, struggled against Borac in the teams’ most recent meeting, scoring only nine points on 3-of-10 shooting in 17 minutes. Nick Honor, a point guard, contributed 19 points and three assists in the Siroki win, while small forward Marko Kovacevic added 18 points, six rebounds and four assists.

The teams have met three times this season, with Borac Nektar winning all three. The most recent was April 25, when Borac won 84-72 in Jamorina’s home arena. On March 14, Borac won 72-59 in Banja Luka, and on Dec. 7, 2025, Borac posted an 85-80 victory. Borac has not lost to Jamorina since at least the 2025-26 season.

Borac Nektar’s only loss in its last five games came May 3 against Siroki, 82-76. The team boasts a deep roster, with center Dusan Makitan adding 12 points and 10 rebounds in the win over Sloboda Tuzla, and forward Darko Talic scoring 20 points in that same game.

Jamorina has split its last four games — winning two and losing two — but has struggled against upper-echelon opponents, including an overtime loss to Takovo Leotar on April 11 and a one-point loss to Zrinjski on March 11.

Wednesday’s game tips off at 7 p.m. local time at Borik Sports Hall, which seats 3,500. Borac Nektar will aim to extend its home-court advantage, having lost only once at home this season, while Jamorina looks to snap a three-game losing streak to its rival.
