PISTOIA, Italy (Interstat) — Karvel Anderson scored 28 points to lead Pistoia past Ruvo di Puglia 79-78 on Friday, May 8, 2026, at PalaFermi.

Pistoia trailed 16-15 after the first quarter and 47-39 at halftime, but outscored Ruvo di Puglia 20-13 in the fourth to secure the win. Anderson, a shooting guard from Elkhart, Indiana, added four rebounds and two assists. Gabriele Stefanini contributed 20 points, two rebounds and two assists for Pistoia, while Simone Zanotti finished with nine points and nine rebounds.

Ruvo di Puglia’s Pierre Brooks and Michael Anumba each scored 22 points. Brooks added six rebounds and two assists, and Anumba had seven rebounds and three assists. Jacopo Borra chipped in six points and eight rebounds.

Pistoia shot 26 of 67 from the floor and 13 of 34 from 3-point range, while Ruvo di Puglia shot 25 of 55 and 10 of 25 from beyond the arc. Pistoia committed 11 turnovers to Ruvo di Puglia’s 15.
