(Interstat) — Galatasaray defeated Merkezefendi 90-80 on Thursday in a Turkish BSL game. Galatasaray built a 20-point third-quarter lead after outscoring Merkezefendi 47-32 in the first half. Merkezefendi rallied with a 28-18 fourth quarter but fell short.

Galatasaray shot 31 of 62 from the field, 7 of 22 on 3-pointers and 21 of 27 at the free-throw line. Merkezefendi shot 25 of 56, 5 of 18 from deep and 25 of 27 from the stripe. Galatasaray forced 14 turnovers while committing nine, and had 11 steals.

Ahmet Tuncer scored 15 points and dished nine assists for Galatasaray. John Meeks added 17 points. Roko Badzim led Merkezefendi with 25 points.

Galatasaray improved to 26-16, while Merkezefendi dropped to 10-17. Interstat’s ELO system projected a 57.3% win probability for Galatasaray.
