USK Praha vs. Sokol Pisek

PRAHA, Czech Republic (Interstat) — USK Praha will look to snap a three-game losing skid when it visits Sokol Pisek in a Czech NBL matchup on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

The contest pits a struggling Praha squad (12-21) against a Pisek team (18-18) fighting to stay above .500 in the final stretch of the regular season. The home team has won both meetings this season, with Sokol Pisek claiming a 95-79 victory on Dec. 14 and a 103-92 win on Oct. 11.

USK Praha is coming off a 76-81 home loss to SK Slavia Praha on April 11, its third consecutive defeat. Guard Petr Safarcik has been a bright spot, leading the team with 22 points in that loss. Over his last three games, Safarcik is averaging 14.3 points.

Sokol Pisek aims to rebound from a narrow 95-100 road loss to JIP Pardubice on April 18. Forward Vojtech Sykora orchestrated the offense in that contest, dishing 12 assists to go with 11 points and seven rebounds. Sykora has been a consistent all-around force, averaging 9.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 8.0 assists over his last four games.

The matchup features contrasting recent trajectories. While Praha has lost six of its last seven, Pisek had won two straight prior to its last loss, including a dominant 104-81 victory over Nova Hut Ostrava on March 29.

For Praha to reverse its fortunes, it will need more offensive support for Safarcik. Ondrej Svec, who had 13 points and five assists in the last outing, will be key. Pisek will rely on Sykora’s playmaking and the interior presence of center Jan Karlovsky, who scored 24 points against Pardubice.

Tip-off is set for Tuesday evening at the Sokol Pisek Arena.
