Apollon BC vs. Paralimni

AP Preview: Apollon BC at Paralimni, Cypriot Division A

PARALIMNI, Cyprus (Interstat) — Two teams locked in an identical mid-table struggle will meet Sunday when Paralimni hosts Apollon BC in a Cypriot Division A matchup at Paralimni Stadium.

Both sides enter the contest with 8-12 records, seeking momentum in the final stretch of the season. Their head-to-head series this season is split, with each winning on the other’s home floor. Paralimni took the first meeting 88-84 on Nov. 1, 2025, before Apollon BC secured a 92-88 victory in the rematch on Jan. 16.

The game features a compelling matchup between two in-form American imports. Apollon BC will lean on forward Isaiah Adams, who is coming off a dominant double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds in a 75-84 loss to APOEL on Wednesday. Over his last two games, Adams has averaged 13.5 points and 10 rebounds.

Paralimni will counter with guard Caleb Asberry, who has been a prolific scorer despite his team’s recent skid. Asberry poured in 26 points against AEL Limassol on March 31 and is averaging 24.5 points over his last two outings.

Both teams are looking to halt losing streaks. Apollon BC has dropped two straight, including Wednesday’s defeat where Ismael Plet added 18 points and nine rebounds. Paralimni has also lost two consecutive games, with De’Sean Allen-Eikens posting a double-double (14 points, 13 rebounds) in the most recent loss.

The season series suggests a closely contested game. With identical records and playoff positioning likely at stake, Sunday’s clash offers both teams a critical opportunity to gain a tiebreaker edge and steer their seasons back on course.

Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT).
