Mladost vs. Orlovik

Preview: Mladost Visits Orlovik in BiH Liga Clash

SARAJEVO, Bosnia and Herzegovina (Interstat) — The Orlovik basketball club will look to solidify its position in the BiH Liga standings when it hosts struggling Mladost on Sunday.

Orlovik (11-9) enters the contest having won two straight, including a narrow 69-67 road victory over KK Jamorina on March 21. Forward Ramo Rizvic has been a consistent force, averaging 15.5 points and 4.5 rebounds over the last two games. The team sits firmly in the middle of the league table and has been strong at home this season.

Mladost (5-15), meanwhile, is mired in a three-game losing streak and seeks to replicate its earlier success against Orlovik. On Dec. 21, Mladost secured an 83-79 home win in the teams’ first meeting this season. However, the clubs also faced each other just one day prior to this preview, on March 28, with that result unavailable for this story.

The visiting side will rely heavily on guard Nemanja Milosevic, who is coming off a season-high 24-point performance in a 74-83 loss to Borac Nektar on March 22. Milosevic’s scoring punch, alongside forward Alex Pantelic (21 points in the last game), will be crucial for Mladost’s chances.

Orlovik has shown better recent form, winning four of its last five contests. Mladost has lost eight of its last nine, with its only victory in that span coming against Sloboda Tuzla on Feb. 11.

The game tips off at 5 p.m. local time on Sunday, March 29, at Orlovik’s home arena. Following this matchup, Orlovik will travel to face Studen Mostar on April 4, while Mladost will host Radnik Bijeljina on the same date.
