BLNO Showdown Set as Flyyingen Hosts Tigers

BERGEN, Norway (March 24, 2026) (Interstat) — The top team in the Norwegian BLNO looks to continue its dominant season Wednesday when the Flyyingen BBK host the Centrum Tigers at Fyllingdalen idrettshall.

Flyyingen (24-5 across all competitions) enters on a blistering pace, having won eight of its last nine games. Its most recent outing was a historic 134-56 road victory over TNT Towers on March 15, where Joshua Keyes posted a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds in just 22 minutes. The power forward has recorded three double-doubles in his last four contests.

The visiting Centrum Tigers (17-12) seek consistency after alternating wins and losses in their past five games. They are coming off an 85-81 home win against Frøya Basket on March 15, fueled by guard Mikkel Kolstad’s 21 points, seven rebounds and eight assists.

The head-to-head series this season has favored Flyyingen, which has won two of three meetings. The most recent clash saw Flyyingen secure an 88-82 home win on Dec. 13, 2025. The Tigers’ lone victory was a 93-87 home win on Nov. 8.

Kolstad remains the key for the Tigers’ offense. After a brief scoring slump in early March, he has averaged 23.5 points and 8.5 assists over his last two games. Containing him will be a primary focus for a Flyyingen defense that has held opponents under 90 points in six consecutive games.

Flyyingen’s balanced attack, featuring Keyes, Nikolas Skouen (22 points vs. TNT) and Eric Fongue (21 points vs. TNT), poses a significant challenge. The team averages over 100 points per game in its victories this season.

Wednesday’s matchup is the first of a quick home-and-home set. The teams will meet again at Centrum’s home court on Sunday, March 29.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. local time.
