LYONSO, France (Interstat) — Lyonso hosts Angers on Tuesday in a French NM1 matchup that carries significant weight for both teams as the regular season winds down.

Lyonso enters the game with a 20-20 record across all competitions, while Angers sits at 16-23. The two teams met March 31, when Angers secured a 73-66 home victory.

Angers guard Dalil Hadi has been the team’s most consistent offensive threat. In his past five games, he has scored 21 points on May 1 against Charleville-Mezieres (86-80 win), 19 points on April 26 at St Chamond NM1 (77-80 loss), 20 points on April 21 against Pays Salonais (72-75 loss), 12 points on April 17 at Besancon BCD (76-79 loss) and 8 points on April 10 at Metz Basket (88-71 win). Hadi also averaged more than four rebounds and three assists per game during that stretch.

Angers snapped a three-game losing streak with Friday’s 86-80 win over Charleville-Mezieres. Guard Baptiste Oger added 15 points and six rebounds in that game, and point guard Yanis Harrath scored 19 points. The victory was Angers’ third in its last 10 outings.

Lyonso counters with forward Kevin Comblon, who has posted back-to-back 15-point games. Comblon scored 15 points with five rebounds and two assists on May 1 at CFBB (83-74 win), and had 15 points and seven rebounds on April 10 at Vitre (73-69 win). He has missed time between those contests but is expected to be in the starting lineup.
