BERCK-SUR-MER, France (Interstat) — Berck Rang Fliers hosts Sables Vendée in a French NM1 matchup Friday afternoon, with both teams entering the game on divergent trajectories.
Berck Rang (23-16) returns home after a convincing 97-83 victory over Metropole Basket on May 1. Sables Vendée (21-20) looks to rebound from a 90-68 loss at home to Le Havre on Tuesday. The teams last met on April 3, when Berck Rang won 84-78 in overtime at Sables Vendée.
The Fliers will lean on forward Grismay Paumier, who recorded a double-double in his most recent outing with 15 points and 12 rebounds against Metropole Basket. In his last five contests, he averaged 13.6 points and 9.2 rebounds.
For Sables Vendée, forward Thomas Klein is a key contributor, though his recent production has been uneven. Over his last six games, he averaged 6.0 points and 2.8 rebounds, with his best outing coming April 17 against Mulhouse, where he scored 10 points in a 93-88 win.
