Decic vs. Vukovi Zeta
Preview: Decic, Vukovi Zeta Seek Elusive Win in Montenegrin League Clash
PODGORICA, Montenegro (Interstat) — Two teams mired in identical slumps will meet Sunday when Decic visits Vukovi Zeta in a Montenegrin Prva A Liga basketball matchup.
Both sides enter the contest with 3-8 records across all competitions this season, each having lost three of their last four games. The matchup offers a critical opportunity for one club to halt its skid and gain a foothold in the league standings.
The teams are familiar opponents, having just faced each other. According to league records, they met on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, with Vukovi Zeta earning a narrow victory. In their previous encounter this season on Oct. 12, the home team also prevailed, with Vukovi Zeta winning 79-75 at Decic.
Decic (3-8) is led by forward Marko Koljevic, who has been a consistent bright spot despite the team’s struggles. He is coming off a 27-point, 7-rebound performance in an 82-91 loss to Ibar Rozaje on Jan. 4. In his previous game, he posted 25 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Stefan Vlahovic, who scored 22 points against Ibar, provides backcourt support.
Vukovi Zeta (3-8) counters with guard Marko Raicevic, who scored 17 points in the team’s 78-92 loss to Primorje 1945 last Sunday. He also contributed 19 points in a win over Teodo Tivat on Dec. 25. Forward Drazen Otasevic, who had 15 points in the last game, is another key scorer.
Both defenses have struggled recently. Decic has allowed an average of 89.3 points in its last three games, all losses. Vukovi Zeta has surrendered 92 points per game in its last two defeats.
Following this game, Decic will host Teodo Tivat on Jan. 17. Vukovi Zeta will play host to Jedinstvo the same day.
Tip-off is set for Sunday afternoon at Vukovi Zeta’s home court.
