Keravnos Strovolou vs. Morphou

Preview: Keravnos Strovolou at Morphou in Cypriot Division A

STROVOLOU, Cyprus (Interstat) — A quick rematch highlights the Cypriot Division A schedule Monday as Keravnos Strovolou visits Morphou just two days after the teams met.

The teams played to a 0-0 result on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, in a game that was either postponed, suspended, or forfeited. The unusual circumstance sets the stage for a definitive contest in Monday’s fixture.

Keravnos Strovolou (8-5) enters with the stronger overall record and momentum from a convincing 92-74 road victory over Pelister on Nov. 19. In that win, forward Eric Williams was efficient with 16 points and nine rebounds in 20 minutes, while guards Darnell Edge (16 points, four rebounds, four assists) and Jaye Crockett (13 points, six rebounds) provided balanced scoring. The team’s form has been inconsistent, however, with recent results including a 115-57 win over Frederick Achilleas but also a 109-59 loss to Prievidza.

Morphou (4-4) is coming off a high-scoring 92-86 road win against ETHA Engomis on Nov. 20. In that game, Keith Williams erupted for 35 points, demonstrating the backcourt firepower Morphou can rely on. Center Nikolaos Okekuoyen added 18 points and eight rebounds. Morphou’s season has been a mix of tight wins, like an 87-84 overtime victory against Paralimni, and decisive losses, including a 101-73 defeat to Apollon BC.

The head-to-head series, excluding the voided game, will see its latest chapter written Monday. For Keravnos, maintaining their winning record against domestic Cypriot opponents will be key, while Morphou will look to defend its home court and climb above .500.

Following this game, Keravnos Strovolou will host Apollon BC on Friday, Dec. 12. Morphou’s next contest is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 20, at home against Anorthosis.

Monday’s tip-off is set for 8:00 p.m. local time at Morphou Arena.
