Centrum Tigers vs. TNT Towers
Tigers Look to Extend Win Streak Against Struggling Towers
OSLO, Norway (Interstat) — A surging Centrum Tigers squad visits the last-place TNT Towers on Wednesday in Norwegian BLNO action, presenting a stark contrast in season trajectories.
The Tigers (12-8 across all competitions) enter on a three-game win streak, including a 94-84 overtime victory over Baerum Basket on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Towers (5-16) have shown recent flickers of life, winning two of their last three, but remain anchored at the bottom of the standings.
Centrum will lean on forward Marcus Larsson, who is in dominant form. He posted a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds in the win over Baerum, his third double-double in the last four games. Over that stretch, he is averaging 17.3 points, 13.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest.
TNT’s hopes rest largely with high-scoring guard Valen Tejada. He erupted for 32 points in an 86-68 road win over Asker Aliens on Jan. 31 and is averaging a blistering 29.0 points over his last five games, including a 49-point outburst in a loss on Jan. 18.
Head-to-head history heavily favors the visitors. The Tigers have won the last two meetings, including a 69-57 victory at TNT on Nov. 19, 2025. In that game, Centrum’s defense held the Towers to 57 points, a season-low for a Tigers opponent.
The matchup pits Centrum’s consistency against TNT’s volatility. The Tigers have held opponents under 90 points in seven of their 12 wins. The Towers, despite their record, have scored 90 or more points in three of their five victories but also own the league’s worst average point differential, having suffered several lopsided defeats.
A Tigers win would solidify their position in the upper tier of the league. For the Towers, it represents a critical opportunity to build momentum from recent wins and spring an upset against a familiar foe.
