Caen vs. Antibes
ANTIBES, France (Interstat) — The Antibes Sharks host Caen on Friday, May 15, in a French LNB Pro B matchup at Salle Salusse-Santoni as both teams try to end late-season slides. Antibes (20-21) has lost three of its last four games, including a 108-81 defeat at Nantes on May 8, when guard Jagan Mosely scored 17 points and dished five assists. Center Patrick Tape added 13 points and eight rebounds for the Sharks, and forward Abdoulaye Loum contributed 10 points and five boards.
Caen (12-26) enters on a five-game losing streak, most recently a 99-75 home loss to Chalons-Reims on May 8. Guard Siyani Chambers led Caen with 17 points in that contest, while center Darel Poirier posted 10 points and six rebounds in 26 minutes. Poirier has been a consistent presence inside; he recorded 17 points and seven rebounds in a 106-98 loss at Vendee Challans on April 21 and pulled down 13 rebounds against La Rochelle on April 17.
Mosely has been the offensive catalyst for Antibes. He scored 21 points in an 83-72 win over Vichy on April 30 and had 16 points in a 93-80 victory at Quimper on April 17. He also recorded 28 points against Rouen on April 3.
The teams met once earlier this season, with Caen defeating Antibes 94-89 on Dec. 5, 2025, in Caen.
Antibes’ home-court advantage could be a factor; the Sharks have won three of their last five at Salle Salusse-Santoni, including victories over Vichy and Évreux. Caen has struggled on the road, losing three of its last four away from home.
With the regular season winding down, Antbes aims to build momentum for a potential playoff push, while Caen seeks to snap a skid that dates to mid-April. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. local time.
