QUELUZ, Portugal (Interstat) — Jelani Simmons scored 25 points and dished six assists to lead Queluz Sintra to a 105-74 victory over Galitos Barreiro on Saturday in Portuguese LPB action.

Queluz Sintra jumped to a 27-16 first-quarter lead and never trailed. The home team extended the margin to 49-33 at halftime behind 22 points in the second quarter. Galitos Barreiro trimmed the deficit in the third quarter, scoring 24 points, but Queluz Sintra answered with 21 points to maintain a 70-57 lead entering the fourth. A 35-point outburst in the final period sealed the win.

Michael Bradley added 17 points and five assists for Queluz Sintra, while Danilo Horta scored 14 points off the bench and Wesley Robinson contributed 10 points and eight rebounds. The team shot 38 of 74 from the floor and 14 of 30 from 3-point range.

Teotonio Do posted 18 points and 14 rebounds for Galitos Barreiro. Walyn Napper added 13 points and five assists, and Rog Stein scored 10 points. The visitors shot 28 of 67 overall but committed 16 turnovers.

Queluz Sintra improved to 8-14 overall, while Galitos Barreiro fell to 5-17. The teams had split their previous two meetings this season.
