Zrinjski vs. KK Slavija

Preview: Zrinjski at KK Slavija in BiH Liga Action

SARAJEVO, Bosnia and Herzegovina (Interstat) — Two teams seeking momentum in the stretch run of the Bosnian BiH Liga season will meet Saturday when KK Slavija hosts Zrinjski.

The game is scheduled for April 18, 2026.

Slavija (9-14 overall) enters with a slight edge in the standings over Zrinjski (7-15). Both clubs are looking to snap losing streaks, with the visitors having dropped three consecutive games and the hosts having lost three of their last four.

The most recent meeting between these teams, however, was a high-scoring victory for Zrinjski. On Jan. 11, Zrinjski outlasted Slavija 100-92 at home. Guard Aleksa Bulajic will be a primary focus for Zrinjski again. He is coming off a standout performance in a narrow 76-73 loss to Siroki on April 10, where he logged 26 points and eight assists in 37 minutes. Over his last four games, Bulajic has averaged 14 points and 4.3 assists.

He was supported in the Siroki loss by center Bojan Markovic (11 points, eight rebounds) and forward Matija Millivojevic (11 points, seven rebounds). Zrinjski’s recent struggles include a 67-65 loss to Sloboda Tuzla on March 29 and a 73-67 road defeat to Basket Zivinice on April 4.

Slavija last played on April 2, securing a 75-69 home win against Siroki. Key contributors for Slavija this season include forwards Stefan Milovanovic and Pierre Sanders, along with guard Sreten Coralic. Their season has been marked by inconsistency, featuring both a 110-point offensive outburst against Basket Zivinice on March 21 and a 20-point road loss to Takovo Leotar on March 28.

With both teams clustered in the league table, Saturday’s contest represents a critical opportunity to gain ground and build confidence heading into the final weeks of the season. Zrinjski will rely on Bulajic’s playmaking to replicate their January offensive success, while Slavija will aim to leverage home court and a more recent victory to solidify their positioning.
