Sutjeska Rallies Past Mornar in Montenegrin League Showdown

NIKŠIĆ, Montenegro (Interstat) — Sutjeska used a dominant second quarter to overcome an early deficit and defeat Mornar 101-87 in a Montenegrin Prva A Liga game Saturday at SC Nikšić.

The host side trailed by seven after the first quarter but outscored Mornar 33-14 in the second to seize control. Sutjeska, which improved to 20-5, maintained a double-digit lead throughout the second half. Mornar, which fell to 17-8, was led by its balanced scoring but could not recover from the second-quarter swing.

Tadija Tadic paced Sutjeska with 14 points and seven rebounds. Balsa Zivanovic added 12 points and Filip Barovic had 11 points and eight rebounds in the victory. The result avenged a two-point loss to Mornar from December.
