Western Kentucky tops Sam Houston behind Glenn, staunch defense
1 day ago HUNTSVILLE, Texas (Interstat) — Western Kentucky defeated Sam Houston 16-3 on Wednesday in an NCAA Football Bowl Division game at Elliot T. Bowers Stadium. The Hilltoppers improved to 3-4, while the Bearkats fell to 1-5. Attendance was 7,291. Western Kentucky controlled the game with a balanced offense and a defense that limited Sam Houston’s chances throughout the night. Brock Glenn guided the Hilltoppers, and Karl Campbell provided key kicks. The Hilltoppers struck first when Glenn found Coleson Arends for a 23-yard touchdown.
