Notre Dame routs Stanford behind CJ Carr’s three touchdowns

(Interstat) — CJ Carr threw three touchdown passes and finished 14 of 20 for 181 yards while adding five rushes for 41 yards as Notre Dame routed Stanford 58-7 in an NCAA Football Bowl Division game Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium. Carr’s scoring throws covered 3, 70 and 30 yards. The Fightin’ Irish scored 23 points in the first quarter, 7 in the second, 14 in the third and 14 in the fourth. Stanford scored 7 in the second.
