Alabama A&M rolls past Tennessee State behind Brown, Faulk at home
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (Interstat) — Alabama A&M defeated Tennessee State 30-3 on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at Louis Crews Stadium in an NCAA Football Championship Division game. Cornelious Brown IV threw touchdown passes to D. Price and Jaylan Bean, and David Faulk kicked field goals for the Bulldogs. Preston Hurless made a 37-yard field goal for Tennessee State, which scored three first-quarter points. Alabama A&M added six first-quarter points, 14 more before halftime and 10 in the third quarter. The Bulldogs improved to 2-1. The Tigers dropped to 0-3. Tennessee State visits Florida A&M on Sept. 19, while Alabama A&M hosts Bowie State the same day. Brown, a Birmingham native, guided the offense, and the Bulldogs defense limited Tennessee State’s attack. Tennessee State’s offense struggled throughout, managing only Hurless’s field goal and never reaching the end zone. The home victory gave Alabama A&M its second win of the season.
