Penn at Dartmouth

HANOVER, N.H. (Interstat) — Penn will make the trip to Hanover to face Dartmouth on Saturday in an NCAA Football Championship Division matchup at Memorial Field. The Quakers enter at 1-1, while the Big Green are 0-2. The game-time forecast calls for a temperature near 65 degrees.

Penn is coming off a home loss to Lehigh. The Quakers managed seven points in that contest and will look to rediscover rhythm on offense. Miles Teodecki remains the player to watch. The quarterback threw for 133 yards in the most recent outing and earlier this season passed for 197 yards while rushing for 87 yards against Bucknell. His ability to extend plays with his legs could test a Dartmouth defense still seeking its first win.

Isaac Lee provided a reliable target in the most recent game, finishing with four receptions for 39 yards. Tommy Lafayette added 41 rushing yards and a touchdown. Penn will need balance from that trio and better finishing in scoring territory after being held to a single score in its last game.

Dartmouth returns home after a narrow loss to Monmouth. The Big Green fell by three points and showed offensive promise behind Grayson Saunier. The quarterback passed for 148 yards and rushed for 66 yards in that game, creating problems with both his arm and his mobility. Earlier this season at Lehigh, Saunier threw for 262 yards and rushed for 21 yards. Myles Craddock also had a productive outing in the most recent game, rushing 22 times for 140 yards and a touchdown. Craddock’s running should give Dartmouth a strong complement to Saunier.

Memorial Field will host the matchup, with Penn playing as the visiting team and Dartmouth as the home team. The Big Green will try to use home-field advantage to secure their first victory of the season. Penn will aim to even its record.

The game could hinge on quarterback play and rushing support. Teodecki has shown the ability to move the offense through the air and on the ground. Saunier has produced through passing and running, and Craddock gives Dartmouth another option in the backfield. Penn will need to contain Saunier and limit Craddock’s gains, while Dartmouth must account for Teodecki’s dual-threat ability and keep Penn from finding offensive consistency.

Dartmouth will seek to turn recent close results into a complete performance. Penn will look to avoid a second straight loss and generate enough offense to keep pace. The matchup at Memorial Field is set for Saturday.

Interstat’s game simulator projects a final score of Dartmouth 40, Penn 30.
