The Flyers opened the season with a 43-20 win over Fairmont State, then beat Thomas More 30-7 before topping Eastern Kentucky. Lochow gives the Flyers another option in the passing game and on the ground. Dayton will next face Butler, San Diego, Stetson, Valparaiso, Davidson and Presbyterian.

The Eagles have faced a difficult stretch, including a 59-2 loss at Western Illinois and a 63-7 loss at Austin Peay. Their other results include a 42-40 overtime loss to Ohio Dominican. Morehead State will need to protect the football and find consistency on offense to keep pace with a Dayton team that has scored at least 30 points in three of its first four games. The Flyers’ defense also held Eastern Kentucky to 14 points in a road win.
