LAS CRUCES, N.M. (Interstat) — Toa Fa’avae delivered a steady dual-threat performance, and New Mexico used a fast start and a stout defensive effort to defeat New Mexico State 42-18 on Saturday at Aggie Memorial Stadium. The Lobos, the visiting team, improved to 3-1. The Aggies, the home team, fell to 1-3 in the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision game.
