ORLANDO, Fla. (Interstat) — UCF defeated Georgia State 44-30 on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at Acrisure Bounce House in an NCAA Football Bowl Division game. Duke Watson powered the Knights with 14 carries for 177 yards and two touchdowns. Keyone Jenkins added two rushing touchdowns and one passing score, and Waden Charles caught three passes for 46 yards and a touchdown. Tackett Curtis posted 10 tackles and an interception, Demari Henderson had seven tackles and two interceptions, and Isaiah Nixon added a sack and two quarterback hurries. Georgia State quarterback Cameran Brown completed 30 of 47 passes for 282 yards and two touchdowns and rushed 12 times for 17 yards. Jaydon Hood led the Panthers with 13 tackles, while Coby Owens added seven. Grant Hollier caught five passes for 29 yards. Both teams are now 2-1. UCF hosts Texas Christian next Saturday, and Georgia State hosts Northern Illinois.
