FORT WORTH (Interstat) — Jaden Craig threw for 337 yards and three touchdowns as Texas Christian defeated Arkansas State 31-7 on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at Amon G. Carter Stadium. Craig completed 21 of 29 passes and added 20 rushing yards. Ed Small caught seven passes for 164 yards and a score, while Kari Ashley had five receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown. Ka’Morreun Pimpton and Jeremy Payne also scored for the Horned Frogs. Payne rushed 24 times for 86 yards. Texas Christian improved to 2-1, while Arkansas State fell to 1-2. Trey Owens completed 11 of 24 passes for 133 yards and rushed for 58 yards. Hunter Summers caught three passes for 47 yards, and Jabari Bush had a 46-yard reception. Ezell Jolly scored the Red Wolves’ touchdown. Defensively, Five Hamilton and Joe Drew each made 12 tackles for Arkansas State. Jamel Johnson, Hudson Hooper and Ansel Din-Mbuh each recorded seven tackles for Texas Christian. Paul Oyewale and Koron Hayward each had a sack. John Hoyet Chance punted three times for 158 yards. Texas Christian visits UCF on Sept. 26, while Arkansas State hosts Kennesaw State.
