LOS ANGELES (Interstat) — Southern California defeated Louisiana 49-30 on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, in an NCAA Football Bowl Division game at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Attendance was 60,019.

Jayden Maiava led the Trojans, completing 11 of 16 passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns. Mark Bowman caught five passes for 67 yards and two scores. King Miller ran nine times for 47 yards, and Waymond Jordan added seven carries for 32 yards. Desman Stephens II recorded three tackles. Southern California improved to 3-0.

Lunch Winfield completed all four of his passes for 60 yards and ran for two touchdowns for Louisiana, which fell to 1-1. Brock Chappell caught a 37-yard pass. Collin Jacob made 10 tackles. Jake St. Andre added six tackles. Avery Demery recorded an interception. The Ragin’ Cajuns scored 30 points but could not keep pace after halftime. Southern California next plays at Rutgers, while Louisiana hosts UAB.
