Central Connecticut at Rhode Island
KINGSTON, R.I. (Interstat) — A high-stakes season finale is set for Saturday at Meade Stadium as the Rhode Island Rams (10-2) host the Central Connecticut Blue Devils (8-4).
Rhode Island, riding a five-game winning streak, is coming off a 38-10 rout of Hampton. The Rams’ offense boasts a potent two-quarterback system with Conner Kenyon, who passed for 258 yards and two touchdowns in the win, and Devin Farrell. Running back Antwain Littleton Jr. adds a powerful ground threat, rushing for 148 yards and two scores last week.
Central Connecticut enters on a high note after a 35-28 victory over Mercyhurst. The Blue Devils’ offense is led by quarterback Brady Olson, who accounted for three touchdowns in that game, and running back Elijah Howard, who rushed for 163 yards and two scores.
The Rams’ defense, which has held opponents to 20 points or less in four of their last five games, will be tested by a balanced Blue Devils attack. Central Connecticut has shown resilience, with four of its losses coming by a single score, including a 38-33 defeat to Duquesne on Nov. 15.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, this contest projects as a nail-biter, with Rhode Island favored to win 34-32. The outcome could have significant implications for both teams’ postseason aspirations.
Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025.
