SAN MARCOS, Texas (Interstat) — In a dominant offensive display, Texas State secured bowl eligibility by overwhelming South Alabama 49-26 on Saturday afternoon at UFCU Stadium. The Bobcats, led by a spectacular dual-threat performance from quarterback Brad Jackson, improved their season record to 6-6. The loss dropped South Alabama to 4-8. Jackson, a junior from San Antonio, was the catalyst for the Texas State offense, accounting for five touchdowns.
