Houston at Baylor

WACO, Texas (Interstat) — The Houston Cougars, looking to rebound from a last-second loss, will travel to face the Baylor Bears on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, at McLane Stadium.

Houston (8-3) enters the contest after a tough 17-14 defeat at home to TCU last Saturday. Despite the loss, the Cougars’ offense was powered by quarterback Conner Weigman, who threw for 161 yards and two touchdowns while adding 114 rushing yards. Running backs Dean Connors and DJ Butler provided a balanced ground attack.

Baylor (5-6) is coming off a 41-17 road loss to Arizona. The Bears’ offense in that game was led by running back Caden Knighten, who rushed for 100 yards, while quarterback Sawyer Robertson threw for 162 yards and a touchdown.

The game has significant implications for both teams. Houston aims to secure a ninth win to bolster its postseason resume, while Baylor needs a victory to become bowl-eligible.

Despite Baylor’s record, the game is projected to be close. Interstat’s game simulator predicts a final score of Baylor 32, Houston 30. Oddsmakers, however, have installed Houston as a slight 2.5-point favorite. The over/under is set at 58.5 points.

Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday at McLane Stadium in Waco.
