Clemson at South Carolina
COLUMBIA, S.C. (Interstat) — The annual Palmetto Bowl rivalry resumes Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium as the Clemson Tigers visit the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Clemson (6-5) enters the contest with momentum, having won three of its last four games, including a dominant 45-10 victory over Furman last Saturday. The Tigers have utilized a multi-quarterback system effectively, with Cade Klubnik, Christopher Vizzina and Chris Denson all contributing significantly in the win.
South Carolina (4-7) is also coming off a lopsided non-conference win, having routed Coastal Carolina 51-7. Gamecocks quarterback LaNorris Sellers was highly productive in that victory, accounting for four total touchdowns.
Despite Clemson holding the better overall record, recent history suggests a close game. The Tigers have shown inconsistency, with a narrow 20-19 win at Louisville on Nov. 14 preceded by a 46-45 home loss to Duke. South Carolina has struggled against ranked conference opponents but has been competitive, including a 29-22 loss to Alabama on Oct. 25.
According to Interstat, the game is projected to be a tight affair, with a simulated final score of Clemson 26, South Carolina 23. Betting markets reflect this, installing Clemson as a 3.5-point favorite with an over/under of 46.5 points.
Kickoff is set for Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, in Columbia.
