Michigan at Maryland
COLLEGE PARK, Md. (Interstat) — The Michigan Wolverines, looking to stay in the hunt for a conference title, travel to face the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday at SECU Stadium.
Michigan (8-2) is coming off a narrow 24-22 road victory over Northwestern, where quarterback Bryce Underwood threw for 280 yards and a touchdown and running back Jordan Marshall rushed for 142 yards and two scores. The Wolverines have won three straight since a loss to Southern California.
Maryland (4-6) has lost four of its last five games, including a 24-6 defeat at Illinois last week. Quarterback Malik Washington threw for 238 yards in the loss, but the Terrapins’ offense has struggled to find consistency against conference opponents.
Despite the disparity in records, Interstat’s game simulator projects a close contest, with Michigan winning 28-22. However, oddsmakers have installed the Wolverines as a 13.5-point favorite. The over/under is set at 47.5 points.
The game is a critical final tune-up for Michigan before its annual regular-season finale against rival Ohio State on Nov. 29. Maryland will look to play spoiler before concluding its season at Michigan State.
