ORONO, Maine (Interstat) — Rhode Island dominated Maine 45-13 on Saturday at Harold Alfond Sports Stadium, powered by a massive rushing performance from Antwain Littleton Jr. The Rams’ running back gashed the Black Bears for 202 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries. Quarterback Devin Farrell added two touchdown passes for Rhode Island, which improved to 9-2. Maine quarterback Carter Peevy threw for 278 yards and a touchdown but the Black Bears fell to 6-5. Rhode Island built a 28-0 lead and never looked back, scoring 14 points in each of the first three quarters.
