Virginia Tech at Florida State
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Interstat) — Two teams looking to salvage their seasons will meet when Florida State hosts Virginia Tech on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at Doak Campbell Stadium.
The Seminoles (4-5) return home after a 24-10 road loss to Clemson last Saturday, where quarterback Tommy Castellanos threw for 250 yards and a touchdown. The Hokies (3-6) are coming off a bye week following a 28-16 home loss to Louisville on Nov. 1. In that game, Virginia Tech quarterback Kyron Drones was held to 76 passing yards but rushed for 85 yards and a score.
Both programs have struggled for consistency. The Hokies’ three wins have come against Wofford, North Carolina State, and California. Florida State’s season includes a signature win over Alabama but also losses to Pittsburgh, Miami, and Stanford.
Despite Virginia Tech’s losing record, oddsmakers have installed the Hokies as a 14.5-point underdog. The over/under is set at 54.5 points. Interstat’s game simulator projects a 29-21 victory for Florida State.
The game will be a test for both offenses, with the Hokies relying on Drones’ dual-threat ability and the Seminoles looking for a more efficient performance from Castellanos.
Florida State travels to North Carolina State on Nov. 21. Virginia Tech hosts Miami (Fla.) on Nov. 22.
