Air Force at San Jose State
SAN JOSE, Calif. (Interstat) — Two Mountain West teams looking to build on rare victories will meet Saturday when the Air Force Falcons visit the San Jose State Spartans at CEFCU Stadium.
Air Force (2-6) is coming off a narrow 20-17 loss to service academy rival Army on Nov. 1, a game in which quarterback Liam Szarka was a dual threat, passing for 161 yards and a touchdown while rushing for 91 yards and another score. The Falcons’ only other win this season was a 24-21 victory over Wyoming on Oct. 18.
San Jose State (3-5) snapped a two-game skid with a 45-38 shootout win over Hawaii on Nov. 1. Spartans quarterback Walker Eget threw for 458 yards and two touchdowns in the victory, while the running back duo of Lamar Radcliffe and Steve Chavez-Soto combined for 150 rushing yards and four scores.
Despite Air Force’s losing record, the Falcons have been installed as a 5.5-point favorite by oddsmakers. The over/under is set at 64.5 points. A projection from Interstat forecasts a close Air Force victory, 32-30.
The game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025.
