Wake Forest at Virginia
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (Interstat) — The Virginia Cavaliers, riding high with an 8-1 record, will look to continue their pursuit of an ACC championship berth when they host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Saturday at Scott Stadium.
Virginia has been one of the nation’s most resilient teams, winning three games in overtime and another in double-overtime against then-Florida State. Their lone loss came on the road against North Carolina State by four points. Quarterback Chandler Morris leads an efficient offense, coming off a 262-yard, two-total-touchdown performance in a 31-21 road win at California.
Wake Forest (5-3) arrives in Charlottesville seeking to rebound from a lopsided 42-7 defeat at Florida State. The Demon Deacons’ offense, led by dual-threat quarterback Robby Ashford, was held in check, managing just 93 passing yards in the loss. Prior to that, Wake Forest had won three of its last four, including a narrow 13-12 victory over SMU.
Despite Virginia’s superior record and home-field advantage, oddsmakers have installed the Cavaliers as 6.5-point favorites. The over/under is set at 47.5 points. Interstat’s game simulator projects a Virginia victory with a final score of 32-21.
Kickoff is set for Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025. The game will be a critical conference test for both squads as they enter the final stretch of the regular season.
