Michigan at Michigan State
EAST LANSING, Mich. (Interstat) — The Michigan Wolverines and Michigan State Spartans will renew their in-state rivalry on Saturday at Spartan Stadium, with both teams looking to build momentum for the second half of the season.
The Wolverines (4-2) enter the contest riding high after a decisive 24-7 victory over Washington last week. Quarterback Bryce Underwood was efficient, throwing for 230 yards and two touchdowns while adding 25 yards on the ground. Running back Jordan Marshall powered the ground game with 133 rushing yards and a score.
Conversely, the Spartans (3-3) are looking to rebound from a 38-13 road loss to Indiana. Quarterback Aidan Chiles threw for 243 yards and a touchdown in the defeat, but the team has now dropped three of its last four contests.
Despite Michigan State’s recent struggles, oddsmakers have installed the Spartans as a 14.5-point pregame favorite. The over/under is set at 47.5. However, a projection from Interstat forecasts a much closer game, predicting a 25-22 victory for the visiting Wolverines.
The rivalry game kicks off at a time to be announced on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025.
