Memphis at UAB
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Interstat) — The undefeated Memphis Tigers put their perfect record on the line Saturday when they visit the UAB Blazers at Protective Stadium.
Memphis (6-0) is coming off a dominant 45-7 victory over Tulsa on Oct. 4, powered by a strong performance from quarterback Brendon Lewis, who threw for 266 yards and three touchdowns while adding 67 rushing yards. The Tigers’ high-powered offense has scored at least 38 points in every game this season.
UAB (2-3) looks to rebound from a 53-33 loss to Florida Atlantic in its last outing. Despite the defeat, quarterback Jalen Kitna passed for 261 yards and a touchdown, while running back Solomon Beebe scored twice.
Despite the disparity in records, Interstat’s game simulator projects a narrow 33-32 victory for UAB. The Blazers have been installed as a pregame favorite with a spread of -21.5, with an over/under of 63.5.
The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on ESPNU.
