Saint Francis (PA) at Duquesne

PITTSBURGH (Interstat) — The Duquesne Dukes will look to climb above .500 on Saturday when they host the winless Saint Francis (PA) Red Flash in a non-conference matchup at Forbes Field.

Duquesne (3-3) is coming off a 34-14 victory over Stonehill on Oct. 4. In that game, quarterback Tyler Riddell threw for 231 yards and three touchdowns, while running back Ness Davis rushed for 111 yards and a score. The Dukes have shown offensive firepower in their wins, scoring 44 points or more in two of their three victories this season.

They will face a Saint Francis (PA) team desperate for its first win. The Red Flash (0-5) are coming off a 30-23 loss at Bucknell on Sept. 27, a game in which quarterback Nick Whitfield Jr. threw for 377 yards and a touchdown. Despite the offensive output in their last outing, the Red Flash have been outscored 171-46 this season.

The Dukes have won their last two games, while the Red Flash have lost 10 consecutive games dating back to last season.

According to Interstat’s game simulator, this contest projects to be a high-scoring affair, with a predicted final score of Duquesne 36, Saint Francis (PA) 29.

Kickoff is set for Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025.
