NEW YORK (Interstat) — Lehigh remained undefeated, overpowering Columbia 31-7 on Saturday at Lawrence A. Wien Stadium. The Mountain Hawks improved to 6-0, while the Lions fell to 1-2.

Quarterback Hayden Johnson led Lehigh, completing 17 of 23 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown while adding 68 yards rushing. His top target was Geoffrey Jamiel, who caught nine passes for 182 yards and a 63-yard touchdown. Luke Yoder added a rushing touchdown for the Mountain Hawks.

Columbia’s lone score came on a 74-yard touchdown pass from Xander Menapace to Titus Evans in the third quarter. Menapace threw for 178 yards and a touchdown but was intercepted twice. The Lions were projected as 10-point favorites but were outplayed throughout the contest.
