Louisiana-Monroe at Coastal Carolina
CONWAY, S.C. (Interstat) — Two Sun Belt Conference teams looking to rebound from lopsided losses will meet Saturday when the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks visit the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers at Brooks Stadium.
Louisiana-Monroe (3-2) is coming off a 42-7 road defeat at the hands of Northwestern last Saturday. The Warhawks used three quarterbacks in the loss, with Aidan Armenta, Hunter Herring and Landon Graves all seeing action. Their season has been a mix of highs, including a 28-16 win over Arkansas State, and lows, most notably a 73-0 loss at Alabama.
Coastal Carolina (2-3) is also seeking to regain its footing after a 47-7 loss at Old Dominion. Quarterback Tad Hudson threw for 108 yards and a touchdown in that contest. The Chanticleers’ two wins this season came against South Alabama and Charleston Southern.
Despite their sub-.500 record, the Chanticleers have been installed as a 2.5-point favorite by oddsmakers. The over/under for the game is set at 45.5 points. A projection from Interstat’s game simulator forecasts a high-scoring affair, favoring Coastal Carolina 42-28.
The game is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025.
