CINCINNATI (Interstat) — The Cincinnati Bearcats defeated the UCF Knights 20-11 on Saturday at Nippert Stadium. Cincinnati built a 17-3 halftime lead behind two touchdown passes from quarterback Brendan Sorsby, who connected with Jeff Caldwell for scores of 40 and 9 yards. The Bearcats’ defense stifled UCF for three quarters before the Knights found the end zone on a 3-yard Cam Fancher run in the fourth. UCF added a late 2-point conversion but could not complete the comeback. With the win, Cincinnati improves to 4-1 on the season while UCF falls to 3-2.
