Pittsburgh at Florida State

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Interstat) — Two teams looking to build momentum in the middle of the season will meet when the Pittsburgh Panthers face the Florida State Seminoles on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at Doak Campbell Stadium.

Both teams enter the contest with identical 3-2 records. Pittsburgh is riding high after a dominant 48-7 victory over Boston College last Saturday. Quarterback Mason Heintschel was prolific in the win, throwing for 323 yards and four touchdowns while adding 28 yards on the ground.

Conversely, Florida State is looking to rebound from a tough 28-22 home loss to rival Miami. Seminoles quarterback Tommy Castellanos accounted for two touchdowns in the defeat, throwing for 272 yards and rushing for 57 more.

Despite the Panthers’ recent offensive explosion and the Seminoles’ back-to-back losses, Florida State has been installed as a 10.5-point favorite by oddsmakers. The over/under is set at 56.5 points. A projection from Interstat’s game simulator forecasts a 34-20 victory for the Seminoles.

The game will be the first of a challenging two-week road stretch for Pittsburgh, which travels to Syracuse next. Florida State will hit the road next for a matchup at Stanford.
