Iowa at Wisconsin
MADISON, Wis. (Interstat) — A critical Big Ten West divisional matchup is on tap Saturday as the Iowa Hawkeyes visit the Wisconsin Badgers at Camp Randall Stadium.
Both teams are looking to rebound from recent losses and build momentum in conference play. Iowa (3-2) enters after a 20-15 home loss to Indiana on Sept. 27, a game where the offense struggled to find the end zone despite 144 passing yards from quarterback Mark Gronowski. The Hawkeyes’ other loss was a narrow 16-13 defeat at Iowa State.
Wisconsin (2-3) is coming off a 24-10 loss at Michigan last Saturday. The Badgers’ offense, led by quarterback Hunter Simmons and running back Dilin Jones, has faced stiff competition in losses to Michigan, Maryland and Alabama.
According to Interstat’s game simulator, Wisconsin is projected to win 28-22. This aligns with betting markets, which have installed the Badgers as a 3.5-point favorite. The over/under is set at 37.5 points.
The game will be the first of a challenging October stretch for both squads. Iowa hosts Penn State next week, while Wisconsin is set to welcome Ohio State.
