Georgia at Auburn

AUBURN, Ala. (Interstat) — A pivotal SEC clash is set for Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday as the Auburn Tigers host the Georgia Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs (4-1) look to maintain momentum after a commanding 35-14 win over Kentucky last week. Georgia’s offense found its rhythm behind quarterbacks Gunner Stockton, who accounted for three touchdowns, and Ryan Puglisi. Their lone blemish is a narrow 24-21 loss to Alabama.

The Tigers (3-2), however, are looking to rebound from a 16-10 road loss to Texas A&M two weeks ago. Auburn’s offense, led by quarterback Jackson Arnold, has struggled in its two defeats, also falling 24-17 at Oklahoma.

Despite Georgia’s higher ranking and better record, Auburn has been installed as a 3.5-point favorite at home. The game is expected to be a tight, defensive battle, with an over/under of 46.5. A projection from Interstat forecasts a 24-22 victory for the Tigers.

The rivalry, known as the “Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry,“ adds another chapter under the lights. Auburn will rely on its home-field advantage, while Georgia aims to prove its mettle on the road and stay in the hunt for the SEC East title.
