Harvard at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. (Interstat) — A surging Harvard squad will look to continue its dominant start when it visits a struggling Holy Cross team at Fitton Field on Saturday.

The Crimson (2-0) have opened their season with a pair of lopsided victories, including a 41-7 rout of Brown last Saturday. Quarterback Jaden Craig was highly efficient in that win, completing 24 of 31 passes for 317 yards and four touchdowns.

They face a Holy Cross team in desperate need of a win. The Crusaders (0-5) have suffered five consecutive narrow defeats, the most recent a 26-21 loss to Fordham. Despite the record, Holy Cross has been competitive, with no loss by more than 10 points. Quarterback Cal Swanson threw for 186 yards and a touchdown in the Fordham game.

The matchup presents a stark contrast in early-season fortunes. Harvard’s offense has averaged 50 points per game, while Holy Cross has yet to find its first victory. However, a projection from Interstat suggests a tightly contested affair, simulating a final score of Harvard 22, Holy Cross 21.

Kickoff is set for Saturday, Oct. 4, in Worcester.
