Clemson at North Carolina
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (Interstat) — Two Atlantic Coast Conference rivals seeking to reverse early-season struggles will meet Saturday when the Clemson Tigers face the North Carolina Tar Heels at Kenan Stadium.
Clemson (1-3) enters on a two-game skid after a 34-21 home loss to Syracuse on Sept. 20. Quarterback Cade Klubnik threw for 363 yards and three touchdowns in the defeat, while Adam Randall added 130 rushing yards and a score. The Tigers’ three losses have been by a combined 18 points.
North Carolina (2-2) is also looking to rebound after a 34-9 road loss to UCF in its last outing. The Tar Heels’ offense sputtered, with quarterbacks Gio Lopez and Max Johnson combining for 154 passing yards.
Despite Clemson’s losing record, Interstat’s game simulator projects a tight contest, forecasting a 26-24 Clemson victory. However, oddsmakers list North Carolina as a significant 14.5-point favorite. The over/under is set at 46.5.
The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. EDT and will be televised on ACC Network.
